This Academic Planning section provides access to Academic Calendars, Timetables, and Examination Schedules for all programs. These resources help students and faculty stay informed about semester timelines, class schedules, and assessment activities.
An academic calendar is a critical tool that organizes and schedules all educational activities and milestones throughout the academic year. The development, communication, and adherence to academic calendar ensure smooth academic operations, promote transparency, and help manage the expectations of all stakeholders involved, including students, faculty, administrators, and external bodies. The following process describes each step in the flow for ensuring that an academic calendar is developed, communicated, and adhered to throughout the academic year.
The Timetable is a vital academic planning document that organizes the schedule of classes, laboratories, and other academic activities for each program and semester. It ensures the effective utilization of institutional resources such as classrooms, laboratories, and faculty members while maintaining a balanced distribution of subjects across the week. The preparation, communication, and implementation of the timetable facilitate systematic teaching–learning processes and ensure that the academic curriculum is delivered efficiently within the stipulated time. The timetable is prepared by the respective departments in coordination with the academic office and is communicated to students and faculty before the commencement of the semester.
